Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox started work on Diva in 1992, her debut album as a solo artist. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let it go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independent album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a performer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva with a number of successful songs such as Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It features cover versions of songs like The No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
