Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has appeared in eleven Broadway productions - including the revival of Violet - and originated characters in Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles as a dancer and actor in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads and Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster, a solo artist, has performed all over the United States and overseas along with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her follow up CD) and "Anevening With Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". Ball State University awarded her an Honorary Degree in 2011 She continues to teach and advise the Department of Theatre and Dance. In March of 2015, she started starring as "Younger" in TVLand the new TV show produced by Darren Star.
